The Bieszczady Mountains - trekking tour in south-eastern Poland
Bieszczady - a mountain range located in the western part of the Eastern Carpathians, the only area of this size in Poland where nature has managed to preserve its original properties and balance. This undeniably beautiful region awaits you with its mountain peaks such as Smerek (1222 m), Wielka Rawka (1307 m), Kremenaros (1221 m), Halicz (1333 m) or Carynska Pasture (1239 m) and an abundance of atmospheric landscapes.

Itinerary:
1st day Krakow
morning Arrival in Krakow, accommodation in a hotel.
afternoon City sightseeing tour of Krakow. While visiting admire the Main Market Square with Cloth Hall, St. Mary’s Church with famous Veit Stoss Altar, the museum of Collegium Maius, the Royal Route.
evening Dinner and overnight in a hotel.
2nd day Krakow - Sanok - Wetlina
morning Departure to Sanok. Sanok lies at the edge of the Bieszczady and is full of charming old streets. Visit the open-air museum of folk architecture. Then go by bus to Solina Lake located in the heart of the region. It is a strikingly beautiful large artificial reservoir immensely popular for tourists.
afternoon Boat trip. Departure to the Bieszczady. This is the only area of this size in Poland where nature has managed to regain its original form and balance. Almost everywhere in the High Bieszczady live sizeable populations of bears, European bison, wolves, deers, goshawks and eagles which once inhabited the Carpathian primeval forests.
evening Arrival at the mountain hotel in Wetlina. Dinner and overnight in Wetlina.
3rd day Bieszczady
morning Start the trekking: Wyzna Pass (872 m), Wetlinska Pasture, Orlowicza Pasture (1078 m), Smerek (1222 m) - time: approx. 6 hrs.
evening Dinner and overnight.
4th day Bieszczady
morning & afternoon Breakfast and check out. Take the luggage for trekking to the hotel in Ustrzyki Gorne. Start in Wetlina, through Dzial, Mala Rawka (1272 m), Wielka Rawka (1307 m), Kremenaros (1221 m - 3 borders) to Ustrzyki Gorne - time: approx. 7-8 hrs.
evening Dinner and overnight in Ustrzyki Gorne.
5th day Bieszczady
morning & afternoon During this day it will be possible to take part in mountain bike riding. The route, depending on the group and the weather conditions, will be discussed with your guide. The group can also continue the trekking program as follows: Tarnica (1346 m), Halicz (1333 m), Rozsypaniec (1280 m), Wolosate (A visit to the stud of the horses known as Hucul) - time: approx. 6 hrs.
evening Dinner and overnight in Gorski PTTK. Optional: Bonfire next to the hotel.
6th day Bieszczady - Sanok
morning & afternoon Half-day trekking program: Nasiczne, Przyslup Pass, Carynska Pasture (1239 m) - time: approx. 4-5 hours or alternatively - a visit to the Valley of Gorny San (the river’s valley, the border with Ukraine, beavers, moors, etc.)
evening Dinner and overnight in Sanok.
7th day Sanok - Krakow
morning Breakfast and return to Krakow.
afternoon Arrival, time at leisure, an opportunity for souvenir shopping or individual sightseeing.
evening Dinner and overnight.
8th day Krakow
Departure.
