Eastern Poland is a perfect destination for those who love nature and peace and quiet. Choosing this trip you will visit one of the largest and most beautiful forests in Europe - Bialowieza National Park which is known for the presence of bison. The trip also offers a rich cultural programme: your stay will start in Warsaw, the Polish capital where you will find plenty of historical and art museums. After visiting Warsaw and the Bialowieza National Park, you will discover several Polish cities such as Lublin, Sandomierz and Zamosc - a city considered a pearl of Renaissance architecture. While travelling through Poland you will see beautiful landscapes and you will also visit several Polish castles.

Itinerary:
1st day Warsaw
morning Arrival at Warsaw airport, transfer and check-in the hotel.
afternoon Guided tour of the city: the Old Town with the Baroque buildings of the Market Square, St. John’ Cathedral with the tombs of great Poles as Stanislaw August Poniatowski, Henryk Sienkiewicz, Ignacy Paderewski, the Royal Castle and the Sigismund’ Column, the academic church of St. Anna.
evening Dinner at a restaurant in the Old Town.
2nd day Warsaw - Bialowieza
morning A visit to the interiors of Wilanow Palace - the former residence of King Jan III Sobieski. Drive to the east of Poland to Bialowieski National Park located on the Polish-Belorussian border.
afternoon Check-in to the hotel. A visit to one of the largest forests in Europe known for its nature and the restitution breeding of the European bison. Strolling through the exhibition reserve, where there are not only bison but also elks, wild boars, red deer, and tarpans (a Polish breed of miniature horses).
evening Folklore dinner with a taste of the Zubrowka vodka drink.
3rd day Bialowieza - Lublin
morning Departure to Lublin - the major scientific and cultural centre in Eastern Poland.
afternoon Tour of the historic Old Town with numerous monuments of architecture. A visit to the castle hill with a brick Romanesque tower dating back to the 13th century and the Holy Trinity Chapel with amazing Ruthenian-Byzantine frescoes, the 14th-century Krakowska Gate.
evening Dinner and night in Lublin.
4th day Lublin - Zamosc - Lancut - Krasiczyn
morning Arrival in Zamosc - the pearl of the Polish Renaissance, included in the list of the UNESCO World’ Cultural Heritage Sites. Strolling through the Main Market Square, the Town Hall, the burgher houses, the remains of the original fortifications, the synagogue. Passing through the Roztocze Region dominated by forests, hills and beautiful ravines.
afternoon Arrival in Lancut Palace. A visit to the magnificent aristocratic residence. Originally this early Baroque palace sited within fortifications was raised for Krakow Voivode Stanislaw Lubomirski in the years 1629-1641. The residence also comprises a winter garden, stables, coach-house and a little romantic castle in the park.
evening Night and dinner in the castle and park complex in Krasiczyn. Built in the late 16th and early 17th century by Stanislaw Krasicki is one of the greatest treasures of Renaissance-Mannerist architecture in Poland.
5th day Krasiczyn - Sanok - Bobrka - Baranow Sandomierski
morning Sanok lies at the edge of the Bieszczady Mountains. The town is full of charming old streets. Visiting of the open-air museum of folk architecture.
afternoon Continue to the Ignacy Lukasiewicz Petroleum Industry Museum at Bobrka - the world’s oldest and unique heritage park with an oil plant still in operation. The place has old-time buildings, genuine pieces of machinery and equipment as well as the documents testifying to the origins and history of the petroleum industry.
evening Arrival in Baranow Sandomierski. The former seat of the Leszczynski family, it is one of only a few such well-preserved magnate residences. It was built in the late 16th and early 17th centuries to a design by Santi Gucci and modelled after Wawel castle in Krakow.
Dinner and night in the castle hotel.
6th day Baranow Sandomierski - Sandomierz - Warsaw
morning Tour of Sandomierz - one of the oldest towns in Poland - visit to the former, Romanesque style Dominican Monastery and St. Jacob’ Church, the cathedral with polychromies in Byzantine-Russian style, the 17th century Jesuits’ college, the castle, the remnants of town walls with Opatow Gate of 14th century, dwelling houses.
afternoon Departure in the direction of Warsaw.
evening Overnight in Warsaw.
7th day Warsaw
