KRAKOW CULTURE TRIPS
Two capitals of Poland - Krakow and Warsaw. City tour.
Warsaw
The current capital of Poland, which was completely destroyed during World War II, is now a quickly growing metropolis of more than two million residents where modern skyscrapers dominate over the city centre. Of these the most dominating structures remains the Palace of Arts and Culture, the symbol of the communist regime. In its shadows, one can find the carefully rebuilt structures of the beautiful old town, with many historical sites of the city’s great tragedy and turbulent history.
Krakow
The historical capital of Poland. A city with numerous churches and squares, with the dominating Wawel Castle - past residence and seat of power for Polish kings. Hundreds of historically significant buildings form a unique architectural assembly, considered to be one of the most beautiful in Europe. Krakow is a treasury of art and cultural monuments as well as a vibrant center of the sciences and humanities. This unique atmosphere attracts students, artists, and lovers of nightlife.
