This ten-day tour includes visits to the most unique places in Poland. Thanks to this rich programme you will have the opportunity to travel first to southern Poland and then to the north of the country. You will see the former Polish capital Krakow with its must-see sights: the salt mine in Wieliczka and the sad symbol of the Shoah: the former Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. The south of our country also offers beautiful landscapes and mountains. A day trip to Zakopane will allow you to rest in peace and quiet, far away from the noise of the city. Then you will pass through the Wielkopolska region with an ancient city Gniezno and finally you will reach Gdansk, one of the most beautiful and richest Polish cities on the Baltic Sea. It is an ideal trip for those who want to discover Poland.

Itinerary:
1st day Warsaw
morning Arrival in Warsaw, Poland, meeting with your tour leader. Transfer to the hotel, check-in.
afternoon Meeting with a local guide and departure for sightseeing of the city: the Old Town with St. John’s Cathedral, the Ghetto Memorial site, Castle and Castle Square, Lazienki Park with Chopin’s Monument and Palace on Water.
evening Dinner and overnight in Warsaw.
2nd day Warsaw - Czestochowa - Krakow
morning Check-out and departure to Czestochowa for a visit of magnificent Jasna Gora, most important christian sanctuary in Poland, home to the miraculous Black Madonna icon. After sightseeing departure to Krakow.
afternoon Arrival in Krakow. Hotel check-in, time at leisure.
evening Dinner and overnight in Krakow.
3th day Krakow - Wieliczka - Krakow
morning Meeting with the guide and walking tour of the city: the Old Town with the biggest medieval Square in Europe (Rynek), Florian Gate, St. Mary’s (Mariacki) Church, the university district with Collegium Maius - the oldest building of the Jagiellonian University, Wawel Hill with the Royal Cathedral and Castle.
afternoon A visit to the Wieliczka Salt Mine - The historic Salt Mine in Wieliczka is the only site in the world where mining has continued since the Middle Ages. Lying on nine levels, its original excavations (longitudinal, traverses, chambers, lakes, as well as lesser and major shafts) stretch for a total of 300 kilometres: reaching the depth of 327 metres they illustrate all the stages of the development of mining technology over the years.
evening Dinner with klezmer music in a Jewish restaurant in the Kazimierz district.
4th day Krakow - Zakopane - Krakow
morning & afternoon Departure for Zakopane. This day will introduce you to the beauty of the mountain landscape and its live folk culture. After arrival in Zakopane sightseeing tour of the city, a cable car ride to Gubalowka Hill. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.
evening Dinner at a local restaurant with live folk music. After dinner transfer back to Krakow, late evening arrival and overnight in Krakow.
5th day Krakow - Auschwitz-Birkenau - Wroclaw
morning Departure for Auschwitz-Birkenau, a symbol of terror, genocide and the Holocaust first of all for Jews, Poles and Gypsies, one of the largest cemeteries in the world. After a visit to the Nazi concentration camp continue to Wroclaw.
afternoon Arrival in Wroclaw. Guided sightseeing tour of the city - through the oldest parts of Wroclaw - along the 13th-century heart of the Old Town - Market Square - one of the largest squares of its kind in Europe, the beautiful 15th-century Gothic Town Hall.
evening Accommodation at your hotel, dinner and overnight in Wroclaw.
6th day Wroclaw - Poznan
morning & afternoon Check-out from your Wroclaw hotel and drive to Poznan. Guided visit to Poznan - Poland’s first cathedral: St Peter and Paul’s, charming Old Town with the hallmark of the city, the “Poznanskie Koziolki“ - two charming billy-goats that butt heads every day at noon, Old Town Square with its Renaissance Town Hall.
evening Accommodation at your hotel, dinner, and overnight in Poznan.
7th day Poznan - Gniezno - Torun
morning Check-out from your hotel and departure to Torun. Stop en route for a short visit of the first capital of Poland - Gniezno.
afternoon Sightseeing of Torun - the city of Copernicus and ginger bread. Visit to the Old Town. The program includes the Town Hall built in stages from the 13th century, the Copernicus statue, Artur’s Court, the monumental Church of the Ascension of the Holiest Virgin Mary, beautiful tenement houses, the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist and John the Evangelist, the Copernicus Museum and the city gates. Hotel check-in.
evening Dinner and overnight in Torun.
8th day Torun - Gdansk
morning Check-out from your hotel and drive to Gdansk. Upon arrival accommodation at your Gdansk hotel.
afternoon Meeting with a local guide and departure for sightseeing of Gdansk Old Town - Long Street and Long Market, the Hall of the Main City, the Artus Court and Neptune’s Fountain, the Crane over the Motlawa River, the Golden Gate, the Green Gate, St. Mary’ Street and St. Mary’ church, etc.
evening Return to your hotel for dinner. Overnight in Gdansk.
9th day Gdansk - Malbork - Warsaw
morning Departure to Malbork to visit the impressive old fortress of Teutonic Knights founded in the 13th century - the largest Gothic stronghold compound in Europe. In 1997, it was entered into the UNESCO world cultural heritage list.
afternoon Drive to Warsaw. Arrival in Warsaw, hotel check-in and the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
evening Festive farewell dinner at a local restaurant in the Old Town. Overnight in Warsaw.
10th day Warsaw
morning Check-out transfer to the airport for your homebound flight.
