Poland Trips

The two sides of Tatra: Krakow, Tatra, Goralen and Spiš land. Cultural and hiking tour

The Tatra Mountains - the only high mountain range between the Alps and the Caucasus. On both sides of the Tatra mountains, special cultural traditions have been preserved, each with its own characteristic features. On the Polish side, this is the folk culture of the so-called "Gurals" (mountain people), who have been able to preserve their uniqueness to this day with their music and songs; their wooden constructions, which are one of a kind in Europe, are also particularly interesting. On the Slovak side of the Tatra Mountains you can meet the shared heritage of Slovaks, Germans and Hungarians - three cultures that have lived together here for several centuries. Mountain castles, well-preserved Gothic towns and the wooden architecture of the country, which is also specific to this region, offer views of a special kind. Exploration of the cultures on both sides of the Tatra Mountains - with many opportunities for recreation - is the main goal of this trip.
