To the Black Madonna in Czestochowa. One day tour from Krakow.

 

Excursion to Częstochowa. Tour of the Pauline Monastery at Jasna Góra, one of the biggest Marian sanctuaries in the world, and the national sanctuary of the Poles. For centuries the Polish kings knelt in prayer before the miraculous image of Our Lady of Częstochowa and the common people made pilgrimage to her to beg for graces. We will pray in the chapel with the miraculous image of Our Lady of Częstochowa – the Black Madonna. Mass will be celebrated in the basilica, the main monastery church. On the return journey we will stop for a stroll around the imposing ruins of the medieval Ogrodzieniec Castle and drive through the picturesque scenery of Ojcow National Park.
