Itinerary:
1st day Prague
afternoon Arrival in Prague and transfer to your hotel. Meeting with your tour leader and short orientation tour of the city.
evening Dinner and overnight in Prague.
2nd day Prague Old Town
morning Prague guided sightseeing tour. Visit the Old Town including Wenceslas Square, see the famous Astronomical Clock, visit the top of the Clock Tower to admire the view and continue to Charles Bridge. Built in 1357, this 520m-long bridge was for 400 years the only connection between the two halves of Prague!
afternoon Enjoy your afternoon at leisure or use the opportunity to see the beautiful Jewish Quarter.
evening Dinner with typical local beer and live music at “U Fleku” or similar not far from the Old Town. Overnight in Prague.
3rd day Prague Castle
morning & afternoon Guided tour of the magnificent Prague Hradcany Castle - see the splendid interiors of the world’s largest inhabited castle. It covers 45 hectares (110 acres) and comprises courtyards, fortifications and gardens. You can also learn the secrets of the Good King Wenceslas and see St. Vitus Cathedral. A must is the Zlata Ulicka - sweet and tiny Golden Street on the castle hill. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.
evening Prague by Night tour - see Mozart’s home and enjoy spectacular views of the city lights from the TV tower, before finishing at Prague Krizik Fountain’s water show. Dinner and overnight in Prague.
4th day Prague - outside the centre
morning Leave the city centre to drive to the northern part of Prague to see the Troya Castle - unique Baroque villa of Italian type, with an Italian garden and Early-Baroque garden nursery with a labyrinth hosting a European unique collection of terracotta vases, busts and allegorical figures by Italian Bombelli. Do not miss the vineyards with a small chapel as well as the ZOO and Botanical Garden on the picturesque hill right next to the castle.
afternoon Return to Prague centre, rest of the afternoon at leisure.
evening Dinner and overnight in Prague
5th day Prague
morning After breakfast at your hotel check-out and transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
